Corinna Venturi, BSc., mBANT, mCNHC

As well as being a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner I also had a 20 year career in the finance industry.

For much of that time I was stressed, depressed and burning the candle at both ends.  As I entered my 30s I realised I'd had enough. At that time I became interested in running (I've since run both the London and Rotterdam Marathons) and started to change the way I ate.

After about 6 months I suddenly noticed that while my general health was improving, my level of depression also seemed to be directly related to how well I ate.  The healthier my body became, the more my depression lifted.

The realisation that food could influence my mood was so profound that I decided to study Nutritional Therapy.  After gaining my degree I was finally able to share this important knowledge using a scientific foundation.

Over time I also developed a specific interest in Corporate Wellness after seeing and experiencing first-hand the ways that office life can slowly destroy your health.  Now in my 40s, I'm healthier and happier than I've ever been!  If you want to improve your health and wellbeing too, drop me a line here.

Experience

I am the Founder and Director of LDN Nutrition (the trading name of London Nutrition Limited) and was formerly a director of Community Health and Wellbeing CIC (CHW), which delivered training courses to third sector agencies on how to improve nutrition for their service users. CHW was fully funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

I have practised as a Nutritional Therapist in London since qualifying in 2012 and delivered personalised nutrition advice to many clients with a wide range of health issues.  As well as one-to-one consultations, I also deliver Health and Wellness workshops and seminars to firms in London, along with several associate Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.

During 2016/2017 I was an Affiliated Health Professional with MapMyGut which provides cutting edge testing to assess the microbial community in the human gut.

Professional Associations and Qualifications

I am a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and was also one of the first practitioners to be listed on BANTs Nutrigenetic Counsellor Register.  I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) the only register for Nutritional Therapy recognised by the Department of Health.

I hold a BSc. in Nutritional Therapy from the University of West London and a FdSc. from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
